A Greene county man was placed under arrest early this morning after a vehicle he was riding was pulled over along the 1900 block of Newton Street after authorities were told the car was being driven erratically nearly striking curbs in the area.

Around 5 o’clock this morning a call was transferred to Jasper Police from Dubois County Communications in reference to a possible intoxicated driver all over the road.

Officers found the car and discovered that a passenger 25-year old Mark Irons of Jasonville was in possession of Marijuana and a controlled substance.

Police say a few moments later they confirmed three warrants out of Greene County for Battery, Residential Entry, and Criminal Trespass.

Irons was taken to and booked into the Dubois County Security Center on the two charges of possession.

Jasper Police received assistance from a K-9 unit of the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department.
