While joining forces, Jasper Police say they and the Dubois Sheriff’s Department have made additional arrests in their investigation of a Child Molesting case that began earlier this week.
This past Wednesday afternoon, deputies took 24-year old Robert Blanford Jr of Jasper into custody at his home along Edward Street after they were asked to assist the Dubois County Circuit Court Probation Department with a home search at the man’s residence along the 1000 block of Edwards Street.
Blanford was on probation under the condition that he as an adult sexual offender not live with children.
Blanford is facing two Level 1 felony counts of child molesting, a Level 4 felony count of vicarious sexual gratification, and two Level 5 felony counts of criminal confinement.
Now Yesterday (Thursday) 21-year old Jessica Blanford was placed under arrest on three Level 1 felony counts of child molesting, three Level 1 felony counts of aiding in child molesting, a Level 4 felony count of child molesting, and a Level 5 felony count of criminal confinement.
Also 37-year old Destiney Warner who also lives at the home along Edwards Street was arrested on a Level 6 felony count of neglect of a dependent. Warner has also been charged with a level 1 felony count of aiding in child molesting.
The Blanfords and Warner are now lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
