Officials with the Town of Dale say water customers have been placed under a boil advisory effective immediately. the advisory will remain in effect till further notice.

Town officials say a main water line ruptured sending the pressure withing the water lines to a level that could permit the introduction of untreated water into the towns water mains and system.

Officials say customers should boil all water that is being used for the preparation of food and consumption. Water should be brought to a full boil for five minutes.

They say the minimal time frame would likely be till Saturday at around 3 pm CDT.
