National Office Furniture, a unit of Kimball International has promoted Wendell Sloan to the position of director of operations.
As director of operations, Wendell will be responsible for National’s seating and casegoods facilities, located in Jasper and Santa Claus as well as Danville and Fordsville, Ky.
With more than 28 years of experience within the industry, Wendell has progressively served in quality, engineering, and leadership roles including plant manager and operations manager.
In a release the company says Sloan’s extensive knowledge of manufacturing and hands-on experience has prepared his transition from his current position of director of seating operations over two facilities, to the director of operations over all of National’s manufacturing locations.
