Greater Jasper School Board member Greg Eckerle has decided to run for another four more years representing District Three.

Eckerle has been apart of the Jasper Board for the past eight years and is the communications director for the Sisters of St. Benedict in Ferdinand and a member of the Jasper Park Board.

Greg and his wife Brenda are members of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper. He is also with ROJAC, Communicators for Women Religious and the Knights of Columbus as well as a volunteer at the Dubois County Museum.

He’s coached youth softball, soccer and tennis as well as men’s softball and was previously a board member with the Jasper Chamber of Commerce, the Jasper Strassenfest Committee, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and the Dubois County Museum.

He previously spent 20 years at Kimball International and is a 1970 graduate of Jasper High School and a 1974 graduate of Indiana University.

Greg and Brenda are the parents of three daughters all graduates of Jasper High School.
