Connie S. Mason, age 68, of Birdseye, Indiana passed away at 2:41 p.m., on Sunday, August 28, 2016, in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

connie M cropShe was born January 27, 1948, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Clayton and Opal (Huff) Borden. Connie worked at Masterbrand Cabinets for over 30 years; enjoyed cooking for family and friends; and was a member of the Birdseye Conservation Club, Birdseye Order of the Eastern Star #590 and Jasper Moose Lodge #1175. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Archie Borden and Jeff Borden.

She is survived by:

Funeral services for Connie S. Mason will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye. Reverend Albert Madden will officiate at the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Wednesday. A vigil service will be conducted by the Birdseye Order of the Eastern Star at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening, at the funeral home.
