Greater Jasper consolidated Schools Superintendent Dr. Tracy Lorey was recently named the 2017 Superintendent of the Year for District VII by the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents.  Candidates chosen for this honor are selected by other superintendents with in their district. Their peers consider the qualifications and accomplishments of their colleague and their instructional leadership in a time of scarce resources. Dr. Lorey has been superintendent of the Greater Jasper corporation since 2012, and has had experience in the career of education as a previous teacher, principal and curriculum director. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana and earned a master’s degree and Ph.D from Indiana State University.
