The ISSMA Regional’s were held this past weekend with area bands competing across the state. The Forest Park Marching Rangers and Southridge Marching Raiders both competed at the ISSMA Regional at Evansville Central High School in the Class D division with both bands receiving a Gold rating, advancing both bands on to Semi State. The Marching Raiders and Marching Rangers will compete at Franklin Community High School in Franklin, Indiana on October 22nd.
The Jasper Marching Wildcats preformed in the ISSMA Regional this past weekend at the Centergrove High School in Greenwood, Indiana. The Wildcats competed in Class B and received a Gold rating with distinction in visual and music aesthetics. The Wildcats will advance to Semi State that will be held at Pike High School in Indianapolis.
The Northeast Dubois Marching Jeeps did not compete this past weekend due to earning a Gold rating at the Jasper Invitational on October 8th which advanced them directly to the State Finals at Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis on October 22.
