Tonight the City of Huntingburg will host a community meeting and public planning session in regards to the proposed U.S. 231 corridor also known as Main Street from 3rd and 22nd streets in the city.

The meeting is planned for 6:30 this evening at the Old Town Hall, located at 309 N. Geiger Street.

The session will be facilitated by representatives from the Sesco Group, Martin-Riley and the University of Southern Indiana’s Center for Applied Research.

A follow-up session is planned for Tuesday, February 28th to share feedback and provide recommendations based on the planning session.

Planners are in the process of collecting ideas from the public about what the corridor should look like in regards to future development.
