Shortly after 7 am this morning members of the Huntingburg Volunteer Fire Department responded to the report of smoke in the MasterBrand facility located at 1008 N. Gieger Street.

Upon arrival it was determined that the cause was an issue at the transformer on the outside electric pole and that it had caused multiple breakers to flip. Firefighters stood by at the scene until utility crews arrived to make repairs.

The Huntingburg Volunteer Fire Department responded with 3 trucks and were on the scene for about a half hour before linemen arrived.
