The Dubois County Extension Homemakers organization selected Shelby Olinger of St. Anthony to receive the 2017 Dubois County Extension Homemaker Memorial Scholarship.

A 2016 graduate of Forest Park High School and a former 4-H member in Dubois County having participated in the Talent Seekers 4-H Club, Olinger is a student at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis majoring in nursing.

Shelby’s parents are Kevin and Mary Sue Olinger.

Each year the Dubois County Extension Homemaker organization awards the Memorial Scholarship to a graduated 4-H member or relative of Extension Homemaker member who is continuing their pursuit of a college degree in health and human sciences, agriculture or a related field of study.

Applications are due annually on June 30.
