Veronica “Fronie” Dilger, age 72 of St. Anthony, Indiana, passed away at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Kindred Hospital, Louisville, Kentucky.

She was born at Ireland on May 25,1945, to Joseph and Gertrude (Beyke) Sermersheim.  She married Charles Dilger on  June 25, 1966 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland, Indiana.

Fronie was known for her baking wedding and Birthday cakes. She previously worked for Corbins Drapery and Kimball Electronics in Jasper.

She is a member of Divine Mercy Parish – St. Anthony Church where she formerly  director of Religious education and Christian Mothers.  Also an avid quilter and  embroider.

Preceding her in death are one son, Dean Dilger.  One brother, Jim Sermersheim.

Funeral services for Veronica “Fronie” Dilger will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, in Divine Mercy Parish -St. Anthony Church with burial to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.

Friends may call from Noon to 6:00 p.m. Sunday March 4, 2018), at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.  Rosary will be prayed at 11:45 a.m. Sundayby Divine Mercy Parish.

Memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish  or a favorite Charity.
