Man and Woman Arrested for Possession of Meth/ Woman also Faces Neglect of Dependent
A two month old child is in the care of County Child Services following the arrest of a Jasper man and Holland woman after police received a complaint from employees at a local retailer that lead to the discovery of methamphetamine’s.
27-year-old Audrey fleck of Holland was arrested early this morning following an incident at the Jasper Wal-Mart when employees said Fleck was acting erratically inside the store and at one point asked store personnel to hold her infant while she went out to her vehicle.
Police reported that when they arrived Fleck appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and was at the store with a man identified as 54-year old Charles Morrison of Jasper.
Initially police determined that Morrison was not part of the original complaint but after a brief investigation of Fleck’s vehicle, to which she had driven there with Morrison in, police found approximately a gram of methamphetamine, Morrison was then arrested along with Fleck.
Due to the state of Fleck’s impairment, her 2 month old daughter was removed from her custody by the Dubois County Department of Child Services.
Fleck is facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Neglect of a Dependent both Level 6 Felony’s.
Morrison is facing a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine.
