A traffic stop in Jasper over the weekend resulted in the arrest of an Orange County man who was wanted on multiple warrants in that county and was later found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Around 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon an officer with the Jasper Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Third and Main Streets for disregarding a stop sign.  Officers identified a front seat passenger as 19-year old Ezra Butler of French Lick.  Police say upon further investigation officers learned Butler had warrants out of Orange County. Ezra was taken into custody without incident.  They say a search of Butler produced a digital scale with marijuana residue on it. He was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia in Dubois County and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
