The center was named in honor of Jim and Pat Thyen, who donated generously in the project not only financially but also with their time and support. With a $1.7 million donation, the new multifaceted facility will bear the Thyen name as well as Pat’s maiden name, Clark.

Jim Thyen stated that this was a new beginning….

The Thyen Clark Cultural Center will be a multi-use facility housing the arts and library that will also feature spaces for lease for classes as well as a large atrium area to use for meetings and events.  The project is fully underway and the construction site has closed to the public.
