The Ferdinand Electric Department is notifying the public of a planned power outage this coming Sunday morning October 21st, as part of the Department’s transition to a new electric sub-station.

Town officials say power will be cut off Sunday morning from 4 till 8am and will effect most customers located between 5th and 18th Streets.
Customers not impacted by the outage include residents of the Trailer Court, 13th Street from 9th to Kentucky Street, Kentucky Street, the Community Campus (including the Ferdinand Community Center, Ferdinand Branch Library and Tri-County YMCA), Ranger Mart, Homestead Pizza and Keith Fritz Fine Furniture.
