The report of a person who allegedly tried to admit themselves into a Jasper medical facility this past weekend under a false name eventually ended with the arrest of a Greene County woman.

Around 5 o’clock Sunday afternoon officers with the Jasper Police Department were called to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper where police say 46-year old Kelly Webb of Worthington tried to check herself into the hospital.

Webb left the building after police were called. Officers who found her leaving the parking lot in her vehicle stopped and detained Webb while they investigated.

Police allege Webb admitted to using a fictitious identity to obtain prescription medication.

Authorities booked Webb into the Dubois County Security Center on a Level 6 felony count of identity deception.
