Authorities took a Jasper man into custody at a local elementary school Thursday after investigating the complaint of a man violating a no contact order.

About a quarter till 3 yesterday afternoon Jasper Police officers were called to 10th Street School for the possible no contact violation.

Police say 42-year old Richard Hildenbrand of Jasper was at that location while officers investigated a possible invasion of privacy.

While being detained, police say Hildenbrand became belligerent and began screaming in the presence of elementary school children. They say he refused to comply with officer’s commands

Hildenbrand taken to and booked into the Dubois County Security Center on a charge of Disorderly Conduct.
