            Donald J. Luker, age 85, of Stendal, Indiana, passed away at 1:50 p.m., on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at The Waters of Huntingburg.

            He was born December 8, 1933, to Elmer and Ida (Hagemeyer) Luker.  Donald worked for Holland Dairy; was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal; enjoyed watching I.U. Basketball and Bombers Baseball; and enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting and fishing.  He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Austin, Bob, Paul and Kern Luker; and one sister, Karen Jones.

            He is survived by his nephew and caregivers, Duane and Ann Jones of Stendal; and by nieces and nephews.

            Graveside services for Donald J. Luker will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Stendal with Pastor Ed Wicks officiating.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the burial arrangements.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com
