Larry D. Chaffin, age 57, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 1:53 p.m., on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at St. Vincent Medical Center in Evansville.
He was born July 18, 1961, in Miami, Florida, to Larry W. and Virginia (Medcalf) Chaffin; and was united in marriage to Opal Mae Gentry. Larry worked as a truck driver, and enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry W. Chaffin.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Mae Chaffin of Huntingburg; five children, Michelle Hume of Huntingburg, Darrel Chaffin of Evansville, Franklin Haaff of Huntingburg, Donald Chaffin of Indiana, and Daniel Chaffin of Indiana; his mother, Virginia Larvo of Lynnville; one brother, Chris Chaffin of Evansville; one sister, Cheryl Robinson of Evansville; and by (10) grandchildren.
