Indiana State Police allege 40-year-old Charles C. Allen had sexual contact with a juvenile less than 14 years old last month.

Court documents say Allen denied touching the victim when interviewed with police.

The Dubois Circuit Court issued an arrest warrant charging him with a Level 4 count of child molesting on Friday.

Allen was booked into the Dubois County Security Center on the active warrant.

Allen said he would hire a counsel during Tuesday’s initial court appearance.

The court put Allen on a pre-trial work release and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim. His next court appearance is set for Tuesday, September 10th.
