A semi caused extensive damage to the Wendy’s restaurant in Dale.
Just before 10:00 PM last night, Spencer County Sheriff’s Office was called to Dale due to a semi-truck crashing through the Wendy’s restaurant.
Reports say that the driver of the semi was hooking up the trailer to the semi when the brakes failed.
Spencer County Dispatch says that the semi went into one side of the restaurant and came out the other side.
Five employees were in the restaurant closing down when the incident happened. No one was hurt in this incident.
