Dubois County Sheriff Detectives’ investigation of a Ferdinand man is complete.

27-year-old Nathan Albrecht has been in the Dubois County Security Center since August 23rd on various charges including child molestation and child seduction.

When executing a search warrant, police found a cell phone and other digital storage media items.

Detectives later found nearly 15,000 videos or photographs of child pornography.

Albrecht now faces the additional Level 6 Felony Charge of Child Pornography.

The Jasper City Police Department, Ferdinand Police Department, Huntingburg Police Department, Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office, the Indiana Department of Family and Child Services, and the Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition assisted in the investigation.
