Just before 1:00 am local time this morning, officers from the Tell City Police Department, Perry County Sheriff’s Office, and Cannelton Police Department responded to a disturbance underway at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

Responding personnel included Sergeant Heather Glenn, a 20-year veteran of the Tell City Police Department. Sergeant Glenn arrived at the scene and encountered 34-year-old Sean Hubert of Tell City.

Gunfire was exchanged that resulted in Sergeant Glenn and Hubert being wounded. Both were critically injured and succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
