The Town of Shoals, in collaboration with the Historic Shoals River District, is making strides to infuse $10,000 of creativity into the community. They are actively pursuing a grant aimed at integrating arts and culture into the fabric of Shoals.

To kickstart this initiative, they are inviting community members and creatives to a brainstorming session aimed at generating ideas for incorporating art into various aspects of the town, with a particular focus on Overlook Park.

The meeting, scheduled for May 6th at 6:00 p.m. at Shoals Overlook Park, aims to gather input from residents and artists alike on how best to utilize the grant funds. Discussions will revolve around improving Overlook Park and finding innovative ways to showcase art throughout the community.

This collaborative effort signals a commitment to not only beautify Shoals but also to foster a vibrant cultural atmosphere that celebrates the town’s heritage and creativity
