Seven days have been added to the August operating calendar for Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, recently declared America’s top theme park. These days total more than 60 additional hours for the month of August. The additional days are August 5-9 and August 12 and 13.
Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari were recently named America’s top theme park, according to the HomeToGo Theme Park Index. The index ranks parks based on attractions available and affordability. The index included all major U.S. theme parks, including Orlando parks.
“It’s even easier to enjoy America’s Top Theme Park this year with our new expanded calendar,” says Leah Koch-Blumhardt, Director of Communications and Fourth-Generation Owner. “We’re excited that the index recognized the value of visiting our two parks at one price along with Free Unlimited Soft Drinks, Free Parking, and Free Sunscreen. This summer, many larger parks have minimized their operating calendars. We’re proud to be adding to ours.”
Holidays in the Sky Drone & Fireworks Spectacular runs daily through August 4. Kids World, which includes all the rides and slides of Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari PLUS entertainment, activities, and food geared toward kids, begins August 17.
