The Jasper Municipal Water Department will begin its fall hydrant flushing on Monday, September 9th.
Flushing hours are 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
Flushing will last for the next several weeks until all City hydrants have been flushed.
The water is safe for human and pet consumption.
Water customers should use their discretion when doing laundry during this time because clothes may become discolored.
Should you notice cloudy or discolored water, run your cold water tap until it clears.
