The Jasper Municipal Water Department will temporarily shut off water service, weather permitting, on Friday, October 31st, to complete a water main tie-in on MacArthur Street.
The planned outage will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will affect residents along MacArthur Street between West 9th and West 13th Streets, including 610 and 706 West 9th Street.
Once service is restored, residents may notice discolored water or air in their lines. Officials recommend running cold water for 15 to 20 minutes, or until it clears.
