A Ferdinand man is facing multiple felony charges following his arrest tied to a drug investigation in Dubois County.

On March 29, 2026, 42-year-old Adam Hagedorn was taken into custody after authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in Ferdinand. During the search, investigators reportedly located approximately 211 grams, or about 7.5 ounces, of crystal methamphetamine.

As a result, Hagedorn has been charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a Level 2 felony, and possession of methamphetamine, a Level 3 felony. Additional charges include possession of a syringe, possession of a legend drug, and maintaining a common nuisance, all Level 6 felonies, along with possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.

Court records indicate the State initially requested a delay in the initial hearing to allow additional time to review and finalize charges.

Hagedorn appeared in Dubois Superior Court on April 1, 2026, where Judge Anthony Quinn set bond at $50,000 cash only. If released, Hagedorn will be subject to enhanced pre-trial supervision, including random drug and alcohol testing.

All charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
