The Lincoln Amphitheatre will bring its 2026 season to a close with a tribute to one of America’s most iconic bands.
“Sounds of Summer – a Tribute to the Beach Boys” is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, serving as both the season finale and the final installment in this year’s Sunday Amp Unplugged acoustic matinee series.
The performance will recreate the signature harmonies and upbeat hits made famous by The Beach Boys, featuring classics like “Surfin’ USA,” “Good Vibrations,” and “Wouldn’t It Be Nice.” The show is designed to offer a high-energy, family-friendly experience to wrap up the amphitheatre’s summer lineup.
The Sunday Amp Unplugged series includes three acoustic matinee performances throughout the season. In addition to the October finale, the series also features a May 17 show celebrating Johnny Cash and a September 13 performance highlighting the music of Eagles.
Tickets for the October 4 performance are general admission and priced at $19.95, with free entry for children ages 12 and under. Organizers say the event is intended to provide an affordable option for families to enjoy live music together.
The Sunday Amp Unplugged series is supported by the Friends of Lincoln State Park, while the full 2026 season is presented by the Spencer County Community Foundation and the Perry County Community Foundation.
More information and tickets for all performances are available through the Lincoln Amphitheatre box office and official website.
