The Watercolor Mandala Artwork is still on display at the Krempp Gallery at the Jasper Arts Center and will remain there till January, 31st .

WAGNER_ImageRachel Wagner, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is the creator of the Watercolor Mandala Artwork and also does work with digital collages, videos, and projections.

Last Thursday was the 2016 kickoff of “The FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH” events that occur at the Krempp Gallery that recognizes a variety of artists and their artwork. Artist Wagner was present at last Thursday’s reception, and elaborated on her journey to creating the watercolor mandala.

The artwork at Krempp Gallery shows both her Mandala art but also Mandala through the form of video with sound and the purpose of it is to have the viewer achieve a meditative experience.

Between 20-30 hours Artist Wagner has spent on one her artwork pieces to create a the final version.

She expressed her appreciation toward Krempp Gallery as they allowed her to be a solo exhibitor of art for this month of January.
