Dubois County Treasurer Chad Blessinger says local property tax statements will hit mailboxes this week and that the final day to pay the first installment of property taxes on time is May 10th.

Blessinger notes that the Treasurer’s office is open from 8 am till 4 pm Monday through Friday and an after-hours drop box is also available at the Dubois County Annex building on the corner of 6th and Jackson Streets in Jasper.

Blessinger says the office will announce extended hours closer to the due date. He says if a taxpayer does not receive a statement by the April 21st, they should contact the Treasurer’s office for a duplicate statement.
