Officers were called on January 25th at 12:24 P.M. in reference to a battery incident that occurred at a residence in Jasper. Upon investigation it was determined that Cole Denton was the suspect in the battery and he had allegedly broke numerous objects inside the residence during an altercation. Denton was unable to be located at that time and a warrant was sought through the Dubois County Circuit Court. The warrant was issued yesterday, January 26th, and Huntingburg officers
Located at his residence in Huntingburg. Denton was taken into custody and lodged at the Dubois County Security center. Jasper Police was assisted by the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department, Memorial EMS and Huntingburg Police Department.
