Nancy J. Griffin, age 68 of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, IN.
Nancy was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on December 17, 1948 to William and Clara Mae (Troxler) Margarida. She married Ben Griffin on November 17, 1994 in Huntingburg. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2012.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to the local radio stations, loved to watch and feed birds, her cat Carly, and watching shows on TV Land.
Surviving is one daughter, Maria Eckert and companion Anthony Farrell, Huntingburg, IN, one son, Jamie Eckert (Ermie), Huntingburg, one sister, Gina Frick (Roy), Huntingburg, and one brother, Arthur Margarida (Ruth), Jasper.
Preceding her in death beside her husband, were her parents.
Funeral Services for Nancy J. Griffin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, IN with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. Fr. William Traylor will officiate.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
