Billie Lynn Meyer, age 69, of Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Huntingburg and Mount Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was born May 15, 1949, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Melvin and Anna Margaret (Goldman) Aufderhar.  Billie was a retired English teacher.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Linda Lou Aufderhar.

Billie is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Meyer of Lincoln, Nebraska;one son, James Matthew Roland of Westville, Ind.; two daughters, Stacy (Scottie) Morrison of Wilksboro, North Carolina and Kathryn (Chris) Burklund of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota; four grandchildren, Kaitlin and Sabrina Roland, Raymond and Annastasia Shell; two sisters, Connie (Alan) Nass of Huntingburg, Ind. and Sue (Ken) Scherry of Mount Vernon, Ind.; and three step-children, John Meyer of Mulberry, Ind., Hallie Meyer of Racine, Wisconsin and Callista Meyer of Louisville, Kentucky.

Funeral services for Billie Meyer will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T. (10:00 a.m., C.D.T.), on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Zion Lippe United Church of Christ in Mount Vernon, Indiana with Pastor Jeff Long officiating.  A committal service and burial will follow at 4:00 p.m., E.D.T. (3:00 p.m., C.D.T.), Saturday afternoon, at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg with Rev. Ken Scherry officiating.

Friends may call for visitation at the Zion Lippe United Church of Christ in Mount Vernon one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.  Condolences may be shared online at:  www.nassandson.com
