Lillian A. Cannon, age 97 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 2:35 p.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

Lillian was born in Portersville, Indiana on December 11, 1920 to Louis and Catherine (Yeagley) Mauder.  She married Herschel J. Cannon on July 15, 1944 in Washington Indiana.  He preceded her in death on September of 1994.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in Martin County.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and cooking.

Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Tharp (Kenneth), Loogootee, Alice Partenheimer (Chester), Jasper,  one son Jim Cannon (June), Loogootee, three grandchildren, Troy Cannon, Treshia Berry, and Leeza Adams, seven great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were two grandchildren, Bobby Enlow and Kent Tharp, one sister, Mary Lou Hedrick, and two brothers, Vernon and Ralph Mauder

Funeral services for Lillian A. Cannon will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in Truelove Cemetery in Martin County.    Pastor John Simmons will officiate.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church or a favorite charity.
