Rebecca Sue “Book” Schaber, age 65, of Newburgh, formerly of Dale, Indiana passed away at 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville.
She was born December 21, 1952, in Huntingburg, Indiana to Robert Gene and Wanda Jewel (Hall) Denton. Rebecca worked at Kimball Electronics and also as a blackjack dealer at the French Lick Casino. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Rebecca is survived by two sons, Eric Schaber II of Newburgh and Jay Schaber of Indianapolis; two daughters, Robin Schaber of Evansville and Jill Teamann of Sumner, Texas; two siblings, B.J. Denton of Northfield, Minnesota and Sandra Thomas of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services for Rebecca Sue “Book” Schaber will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.
