Carol L. Winkler, age 83 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 5:55 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.

Carol was born in Jasper, Indiana on November 14, 1934 to Carl and Aline (Arnold) Winkler.

She retired from WITZ Radio Station in Jasper after many years of service, and also worked part time at the Astra Theater in Jasper for many years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

She enjoyed bowling, visiting the casino, and was an avid Chicago Cubs and I.U. Basketball fan.

Surviving are two sisters, Doris Gutzweiler (Jerry), Jasper, Joyce Brandt, Jasper, two brothers, Gerald L. Winkler (Donna), Detroit MI, and Paul Winker (Diane), Jasper, six nieces, four nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Ann Therese Winkler who died in childbirth.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Carol L. Winkler will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana with entombment to follow at Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.
