A Daviess County man was placed under arrest late Monday evening on multiple charges after he was observed entering or looking through several vehicles at a Jasper fast food restaurant.

Around 11 o’clock last night, officers with the Jasper Police Department responded to the report of a male subject committing the acts at the south side McDonald’s.

Officers made contact with 33-year old Michael Weathers of Washington after management pointed him out.

Police say Weathers was uncooperative and would not stop yelling and cursing in the parking lot as officers conducted an investigation.

They say Weathers threatened to fight officers and made aggressive movements. When officers attempted to take Weathers into custody they say he became combative.

After tasering Weathers and going hands-on with him, he was taken into custody and booked into the Dubois County Security Center on misdemeanor charges of Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Law Enforcement.
