Jasper Mayor Terry Seitz has released his appointments and re-appointments for various city boards and commissions for 2019.

Seitz says the residents of Jasper are served by citizens who give their time and talent on various City boards and commissions.

Seitz thanked those who are retiring from boards this month, as well as those who continue to serve.

Most appointments are effective January 1, 2019.

All terms are for four years unless otherwise indicated. Also, political affiliation is indicated where required by state statute.

Kathy Bachman has been reappointment to a 3-year term on the Dubois County Museum Board,

Mary Klem has been reappointed to a 2-year term on the Dubois County Tourism Commission.

Dave Elliott has been reappointed to the Hospital Authority of the City of Jasper

Democrat Kent Otto was reappointed to the Jasper Park and Recreation Board

Reappointed to the Arts Commission is Pat Thyen,

Barb Leinenbach will serve another one year term on the Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

Reappointed on the Utility Sub-committees for the next year include

Dave Hurst – Gas,

Earl Schmitt – Electric,

John Schroeder – Wastewater,

And Kevin Manley – Water

Reappointed to 3-year terms on the Partnership commission are

Irene Kapp

Max Verkamp

And Sean Jochum

The Redevelopment Commission for 1-year term,

Rick Stradtner

Andy Seger

And John Kahle. All reappointments

One new appointment to the City’s Utility Services Board is that of Democrat Phil Schmidt.

One reappointment to the Utility Board is
Republican Roger Seng,

Paul Lorey was reappointed to a one year term on the Indiana 15 Regional Planning Commission

And finally Michael Pfau was newly appointment to the Economic Development Commission effective February 1st 2019
