Rose Marie McKibben, age 92 of Dubois, Indiana, passed away at 4:47 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019, in Northwood Retirement Community.

She was born in Martin County, Indiana on August 9, 1926, to Henry and Mary (Mann) Bauer.  She married James C. McKibben (Charlie) on June 23, 1946, He preceded her in death on February 4, 2005.

Rose was a homemaker and member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois. Indiana.

She was from a musical family and played the Guitar from age 8 to age 91. Also enjoyed spending time with her family church family.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are two brothers, George Bauer and Wally Bauer.

Funeral services for Rose McKibben will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2019, in St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Dubois with burial to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.  Rev. John Sterrett will officiate.

Private visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service time.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Northwood Retirement Community. Condolences may be made atwww.becherkluesner.com
