Once again, officials with the Southwest Dubois County School Corporation decided this morning that in the best interest of the safety of students and staff, to cancel classes today at all schools within the district.

The move came after local law enforcement were made aware of a threat towards a school within the corporation via social media.

Authorities are investigating the potential threat.

This threat is not related to an incident that took place Thursday in which a student allegedly made a threat towards Southridge High School.

In that situation, the student involved was placed under arrest and has been suspended from school while an investigation is taking place.
