An investigation is underway after a man was shot in Spencer County early this morning.
The shooting took place on County Road 225 East in the Dale area at around 3:15 am.
The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance with a gunshot wound. His condition is not known at this time.
The Spencer County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Spencer County EMS, Carter Fire District, and Indiana State Police.
