A single-vehicle crash resulted in the death of a Boonville woman on Thursday.

The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that occurred on State Road 62 near Baker Road just after 2:00pm yesterday afternoon. A vehicle was traveling westbound on State Road 62 when it crossed the eastbound lanes and left the roadway. The vehicle struck several parked vehicles in a used car lot on the south side of the roadway and flipped. The driver of the vehicle died at the scene. The driver has been identified as Karin Ramirez, age 39, of Boonville. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Boonville Police Department. Indiana State Police and Warrick County Coroner are also assisting in the investigation.
