The Mid-America Economic Development Council held its 2019 Annual Economic Development Awards and Perry County was among the winners.
Perry County won 1st place in the Marketing Program Small Division for their Pick Perry County Campaign. The award was won by having an overall comprehensive marketing program to market a community, county, state, or region to a prospect; an Annual Report or Newsletter; Online Programs, and/or a Specific Program or Event.
From December 8th to December 10th, the 2019 Annual Economic Development Awards took place in Chicago, Illinois at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown.
The Economic Development Awards competition to recognize and stimulate the creative use of quality marketing by economic development organizations throughout the twelve-state Mid-America region in promoting their respective communities.
