US 231 at Bramble Road in Martin County was closed this morning due to a traffic accident involving a semi.
At around 6:00 am this morning, a semi was traveling on Bramble Road and slid off the road in an attempt to make a turn.
US 231 was down to one lane of traffic for about one hour due to police tending to the accident.
Highway 231 is now open.
