Jasper’s Buffalo Wings & Rings has donated $10,000 to the Dubois County Humane Society and to Community CHEW.

Owners and operators Mike and Gina Weyer, Mike Bartley, Dean and Jill Schmitt, and Ann Bennett donated $5,000 to the Humane Society and $5,000 to Community CHEW during a formal ceremony on Wednesday, February 12th.

Weyer, who is the President of the local Buffalo Wings & Rings location says that the donation came about after seeing a simple post on Facebook.

Shelley Uebelhor from Community CHEW and Andrea Hedinger Gramelspacher from the Dubois County Humane Society received the check.

Weyer says that while this is the first donation that Buffalo Wings & Rings has made in this magnitude, the organization has donated to many different local youth sports organizations over the years that they have been in business. Buffalo Wings & Rings says that they have given restaurant coupons to youth sports outlets for the players to sell and keep 100% profit. Weyer says that this has generated an estimated $75,000 to local youth sports organizations.

Secretary-Treasurer of the local Buffalo Wings & Rings Mike Bartley says that Buffalo Wings & Rings was started because of his and Weyer’s love and passion for their families’ sports teams.
