A Huntingburg man was arrested on OWI Charges.

34-year-old Jason Cooper was charged with Resisting Law Enforcement with a Motor Vehicle, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC over .15, and Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person.

Sunday night, Huntingburg Police noticed a Jeep with false and fictitious license plates. The driver, Cooper, also had a suspended license.

After initially stopping Cooper, he took off at an excessive speed.

The Jeep was all over the road, according to officers.

The Jeep eventually ran off the road and struck an embankment. Cooper was found unconscious.

Cooper was taken to Memorial Hospital with minor injuries before being taken to the Dubois County Security Center.
