Because of dry and windy conditions, authorities are saying that starting a fire could become more of a hazard than before.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office says controlled burns will become out of control in current conditions and is asking the public to not control-burn at this time.

Crawford County has issued a burn ban altogether.
