The motorcyclist killed in the crash in Crawford County over the weekend has been identified.

The driver of the motorcycle, Michael Parker of Bedford, was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife, who was also the passenger, Charity Parker, suffered serious injuries and was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital.

The pair was struck by a white Chevy Cavalier at the intersection of State Road 164 and Dillard Road on Saturday afternoon.

Witness say the Chevy Cavalier was driving eastbound on State Road 164 and turned into the path of the motorcycle.

Two juveniles were in the Chevy at the time of the accident, and one suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
